A friend of mine got engaged a couple of days ago! I'm happy for him. I pray that their marriage goes well and lasts till death do them part.

Name change

New blog in a while

I had an interesting two weeks.....

First my computer stopped functioning. It still works technically, but the harddrive is messed up so I can't use it. For internet access I have to use the school computers or the computers at the apartment complexes computer lab.

Also I wrecked my car....... So I've been bumming rides off people for two weeks now. Sucks having to wait around. I should get my car back tomorrow (Wednesday) though, so that'll be good.

I've also had no groceries at the apartment and with no car to get me to a store I've not had any food in the apartment at all. Luckily I've still been able to eat.

Though I'm going through some complications right now (I'll add the fact that I'm broke and have several bills to pay to my list) I'm still alright and I will get through this just fine. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.

Children's ministry is actually pretty fun. I'm always playing tag with the kids outside and I try to play with them and help out when we play with toys or do crafts and stuff. I've also developed a liking for animal crackers.

The Discovery class I'm taking at church is pretty awesome. They give us free pizza and drinks and the class goes over the doctrines of the church and the Bible. Last week we talked about a pretty controvertial subject, election. Not presidential election like I was thinking at first. haha. But Gods choice on who is elect to be his followers and who isn't. Tomorrow we'll be talking about a simpler, less controvertial subject.

Valentines day came and left. I was at work that evening and we were BUSYYYYY! Not much else to say about it though.

I'm reading two new books: The God who is There by Francis A. Shaeffer and Holding Hands-Holding Hearts by..... A husband and wife couple. Don't remember their names.

Wonder when I'll be able to visit Stockton again. Maybe Spring Break? Who knows.

Movin' on up

That title has nothing to do with my blog..

I'm starting children's ministry training tomorrow. Hope that goes well. Starts at 9 AM. Had to pay rent today so I have probably $16 left in my bank account. Oh I love being poor.....

I FINALLY FINISHED THE NEW TESTAMENT!

My aunt is leaving tomorrow. She's moving out of Columbia and working a new job in Texas. Might be kinda scary without her as backup here, but I'll survive. I wish her the best.

Logic was pretty fun today and afterwards I went to my favorite coffeeshop to hang out. Saw a group of people there I recognized and sat with them and hung out while eating a yummy frosted sugar cookie!

I'm currently listening to Coldplay, Switchfoot, and The Black Mages. Awesome groups! (though Coldplay has been making weird music vids lately)
