Oops.
I slept through my math class...... I knew that was going to happen as soon as I closed my eyes. That's what happens when I stay up so late and wake up so early for work.
Quote of the evening!

Work
Morning shift today. bleh. Almost forgot last night too. Luckily I remembered.
Quote of the morning!

Class
I got my paycheck all deposited and I have Logic in about half an hour. I also have the Discovery Class tonight at church, which I'm looking forward to. I'm doing some research on the extra books found in the Catholic Bible because I'm curious as to why they're in the Catholic's Bibles and not in the Protestants. Gotta go!

Bored.
Not really sure what to do right now. Just hanging around the computer. Kinda started reading Hebrews, besides that I'm just on Facebook.
Veritas was good. Topic today was drugs and alcohol. Got to talk to some friends. Gave my friend Audrey the rest of my dark chocolate and that seemed to make her happy. ^_^ Sometimes I still feel out of the loop over there. I don't go to MU or live in the MU dorms so I feel like I'm still not apart of any group or friends there. I know I do have friends and all, but I don't know. Maybe I'm just worrying too much.
The good news is that I found the guy that I want to minister my wedding in the one in infinite x10 chance that I get married! Making progress.
I'm lonely right now. T_T
Quote of the day!
"Man's sensitivity to the small things and his insensitivity to the most important things are surely evidence of a strange disorder." Pascal

Class was canceled
That was a waste of time driving all the way there only to find out class is canceled. The roads are absolutely horrible out there.
I took a 4 hour nap today.... Woah.
Done with my book already. Either I should go buy Perelandra by C.S. Lewis or just continue The Chronicles of Narnia, also by C.S. Lewis.
One more quote!
"Of old the cardinal problem of human life was how to conform the soul to objective reality and the solution was wisdom, discipline, and virtue. But for the modern mind, the cardinal problem is how to subdue reality to our wishes and the solution is a technique." C.S. Lewis

New day
I woke up at 7:00 AM today, which is much different from the 12:00 PM yesterday.... Almost done with my book already. MAN I'm a fast reader! Interesting book too. Veritas is tonight and I have math class today.
Looks like I'm hired for the children's ministry! I'm gonna be a sitter.... I'm scared. >.<
Quote of the day!'
"Would it not be strange if a universe without purpose accidentally created humans who are so obsessed with purpose?" Sir John Templeton.

Cold
It's very cold out. It started to snow to. Bleh. Oh well. That's the beauty of this world.
I started a new book. The Ever-Loving Truth by Voddie Baucham, Jr. I'm enjoying it so far. I like the descriptions of the different Christian stereotypes on T.V. So ridiculous. haha
Quote of the day!
"Nothing that we despise in the other man is entirely absent from ourselves. We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or don't do, and more in light of what they suffer." Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Oh money. Wherever did you go?....
I'm barely making my bills, but oh well. I'm trying to work more hours and I applied at the church I go to (The Crossing) for children's ministry on Tuesday mornings. I wanted to find a way to serve the church and I need experience with children anyway..... Also they pay $8 an hour so that'll be nice. There's also some volunteer work I'd be able to do during the Summer so I'm going to look into that! It'll be awesome! Veritas started up again so it's nice seeing people again. Kinda boring around this town when everyone is out of town for Christmas break. Their first meeting was Tuesday (talked about entertainment) and we had a pizza and Lost party on Wednesday. Yum.
Why on earth does Mark Driscoll make finding a wife and getting married sound like it's suppose to be as easy as buying a pair of socks from Wal-Mart?
I'm getting closer to finishing the New Testament! I'm getting there! I still have a ton of the Old Testament to read though..... That's harder to get through.
Finished two books this week. First one was The Da Vinci Deception, which is a non-fiction about the book/movie The Da Vinci Code, saying that it's based on little to no evidence whatsoever. The second is Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis, a sci-fi where a man gets force to travel to a planet called Malacandra for reasons he doesn't know yet. Naturally C.S. Lewis always puts Christian influences in his books so this world of Malacandra and the people in it represent an "unfallen" world, quite the opposite of Earth, the "silent planet." The series is a trilogy so I'm going to have to get the other two books.
OK. I'll leave it at that. See ya!

Ugh. I hate waking up at 11:00 AM. That's a big chunk of my day gone right there. Just watching my roommate Matt and his friend play Wii Golf. They are addicted to that game.
Let's see....... NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS! I already failed only eating sweets once a week. I guess my resolution will be eating LESS overall. I'm also going to get Baptized. I'm going to talk to my friend Kermit about it tomorrow and we'll make arrangements! It'll be exciting.
Since I have absolutely NO food in this apartment I might as well go into town and buy me some. I wonder if I should go to my favorite hang-out spot, Kaldi's Coffeehouse. Meh, we'll see.
I should make a trip to Stockton sometime...

Losing my blog virginity!
Holy crap I got one of these now..... All because some of my friends have one too. Anyway, today I woke up, took a shower, read Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel, interrupted an important conversation (I still feel bad), went to work, now I'm chilling at the apartment listening to some music in my room. More on me later.
